		Champion Hills A 727 acre, private equity club, Champion Hills began in 1988 as a local venture by a small group of investors who believed this unique corner of Western North Carolina could yield an amazing golf experience. Tom Fazio, renowned golf architect, was so inspired by the land that he joined the project as both the golf course designer and as an investor in 1989. In 1992, The Branigar Organization, a subsidiary of Union Camp Corporation, purchased Champion Hills and built a strong foundation for the Club’s growth. By 2001, Champion Hills Club was entirely member-owned. The golf course is opened year round. 		Cummings Cove Cummings Cove is an established community located on 600 acres. The community features 18 holes of golf, tennis, an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and clubhouse activities. Located near the center of a triangle formed by 3 cities occupying a high plateau in western North Carolina: Hendersonville, Asheville and Brevard. Although they are closest to Hendersonville--just 8 miles from downtown--Brevard is just a 20 minute drive and Asheville less than 30 minutes. Home sites are available from around $50,000 to over $300,000 and range from 1/5 acre to almost 2 acres. Homes range from the mid $300,000 to over $1 million. Golf villas and cottages start in the low $200,000's.
